Having fun here trying to squeeze a 90mm Changesun 12-blade fan unit into a FlyFly F-22 I got ages ago.

Was busy this last week or so making up a 'test bench' - measured the Changesun fan, and it's pulling around 2.2 kilo's of thrust at ~90 amps on full tilt .

Crap - this thing might be rather quick...

And what a magic sound that fan makes...

BJ we are revamping our rescue boat and jamming a 64mm edf unit instead of a fan. Should pump it along nicely.

Sadly my 1/10 trooper rc car stripped a gear or something yesterday so I will have to wait till my parts come in for it and see if i can fix it.

I might take the axn out this arvo for a go if this wind picks up a bit.

Damn Stal, you've got some serious time up your sleeve. Your always doin something RC related.

I'm flat out trying to fly once a week but hopefully all this micro stuff will change all that for me.

I took the axn out but the wind was strong enough. Had it gliding for about 5mins but was a struggle to keep it up there so i brought it in.

Meebo did you get a beast yet. There was one on ebay for $100. I would just get the umx sbach if i was you. Flies way better and allot faster.

Not really looking for speed, I'm more in to 3D.

I would definitely much rather buy an Sbach 342 but it doesn't do the 3D I want, I might even just get one some day anyway as I absolutely love the black, red and white Sbach's.

If it could fly like the Beast 3D than it would be mine mine mine.

Yeah she goes ok. Accidently broke of the servo mount this morning so dad and I make up a like bracket to hold the servo again. Just have to wait for it to dry before we mount it.

Got a prop adapter for the umx sbach. But found the ailerons where sticking now so it looks like I will need to swap out the servos.

Raz what's the best micro servos out there to use for this mate?

From my experience the HK mini 1.7 rotary servos are hit and miss; but I've only had a few and they're only supposed to operate on 3.7V so you have to add a diode for 2S to pos wire on servo.

When great planes starts selling the micro rotary servos it uses in the micro Sabre I'll be buying some along with the micro RX as they've worked well for me.

Hopefully they'll come out soon!

ive ordered some 3.7g servos. There small turnigy ones. Ill see how small they actually are when they get here. They should function fine a on a 2s lipo. Ive found some others that are called new power and they should be ok as well. But i just want to wait and see what these others are like.

Moneys tough for me right now so i cant order things willy nilly.

so whats going on boys its way to quite in here for my liking.
