Hey Y'all,
Wake the eff up!
Hope everyone is making best possible speed!
I may have found the cheap [OEM] replacement brushed motor for the Genius. I put the package in, so you can get a part #. This is a walkera part. The only thing I'm a bit concerned about is these are CW and CCW motors. Does that make a difference with the finger brush motors? I think the armature would be turning into the brushes on one and away on the other. Or am I over thinking. Then these may not work...period.

regards,
Bill

Hi Bud,
I tend to think so, also. If that's the case, two will wear out prematurely. So, it may not be such a great deal...but I can guarantee I paid a sight less than $12ea for the 4 in the set.

regards,
Bill

Yeah

New 450 fBl as well

The top secret was a let down

I don't get how HH makes all these grand announcements like "revolutionary" and "never been seen before"

It's BS

Don't get me wrong; it's neat

But basically an electryfly VFO with 3 axis - not revolutionary

The UMX beast X and Gee Bee R2 are cooler I think

I'm upset that I postponed going up to the cottage just for this.. Nothing that I need.. But might be something I want..

Maybe the mSR, Beast, Taxi, GeeBee don't want the 450 to big for me..

I'm not even sure I like the whole "gyros in planes are going to change the way you fly" thing...I like the way I fly now.

Overall, a bunch of overblown hype IMO.

Never liked the looks of Gee Bees...the Hypertaxi is gay...but at least there are Beast parts available still.

....and the fanboys are gushing...like little schoolgirls. It's kind of pathetic.

Bud, hugely disappointed Bud
