This or that are a very nice ones too.
The propeller clock itself is not a new idea, but the adaptation is very hard.
Most systems work with hall effect sensor and magnet, doesn't on a helicopter.
Lookin' on the bike systems, think about the number of LEDs and RPM.
A wheel turns about 20 times a minute, the helo about 20 to 30 times per second. In my blades 48LEDs are working with 512 segments for each, upper and lower side, maximum RPM is about 2000 rpm.
To get a smoother picture on the bike, you can use 2,3 or 4 PBCs per wheel, this is not an option for the helicopter.
Another point: Weight does matter!

no, I have need it very long time until it works with the Atmel for RGB. I do not want the other to earn money for my work.
