Triple Screw Towboat
This is my first post and first work in progress build. It is a triple screw tow boat of the first towboat I ever worked on the Mississippi River. I worked on the Miss Kae-D for ACL. Now the boat belongs to AEP now called the Jeffrey G. Stover. The boat is made out of styrene. It is 13inches wide 48 1/2iches long. It has three Model Solutions Of Canada sound modules, three motors, working steering and flanking rudders, two working Radars, three working stack fans, six working winchs and working lights, and a smoker unit. It is powered by four 12v led acid batteries. The boat has one huge bow tank that holds balast water and eight wing tanks on boths side which can be used as balast tanks. The boat has ashaft alley for each shaft with a boat saver pump installed just in case water drips in from the stuffing box that has been packed with lube. I plan on installing more battery level indicators for the rest of my batteries. I have a custom Robbe F14 transmitter. It has triple throttles for the motors and dual throttle for the steering rudders and flanking rudders. I will post pics of the transmitter later. Here is my M/V David S. Monroe.
