Does anyone has any experience with TLS-PWR power sensor? I just got mine and a bit dissapointed. First, the software on XG8 doesn't show you amps, only volts and mah consumed. Second, according to four other measuring devices I have, it shows the voltage of the pack 0,3-0,4v higher and there is no way to calibrate anything of course.

The Power Sensor ist not yet to buy in germany, but that sounds bad. Measuring the consumed power is my basic need to have maximum flight time. I hope JR is going to fix that. (And add logging for the telemetric data.) Greetings from germany, Ralf |

Ralf, I have bought mine in Japan, seems to be the only place for now. I don't worry a lot for not showing amps on the TX screen, I think it would be implemented in future, at least it sound logical. But what I really don't like that the device itself pricey and the voltage measurement is off. I say it's off because when I connect fully charged 4S lipo it shows me 17.2 Volts which couldn't be of course. And knowing that the voltage measurement is off I couldn't trust the total MaH consumed of course.
As for the logging, I don't think they will implement it in XG8, marketing you know.

But I presume I will go back to HoTT as soon as they have a good affordable transmitter. In the 11X I have the choice of DSM2, FASST, FrSky, KDS, HoTT and more. ;-) So I am quite relaxed. But for now, DSM2 is the best choice for the 11X, because it is not using PPM to feed the Module. You can see that in the Monitor/Servo Test mode, with DSM2 they run smooth, with all other the Servos are a bit jumpy. Greetings, Ralf Viele Gruesse, Ralf |

Speaking of HoTT and other German manufactures I think we have to keep an eye open for the sensors made for use with the JR. Like WS-tech or SM-modellbau. I hope they will provide soon wide array of the sensors which are gonna be more precise then the current JR sencsors.
