Has any seen these!!!

http://www.graysonhobby.com/catalog/...ver-p-648.html

I emailed Grayson Hobby and they responded they will be in stock on Monday

Nice to see major competition from a US supplier at the Hongkong Prices.

Since I am Mobile, AL, its 1 day shipping for a $10 RX

Confusing to me. It's listed as a DSM2/DSMX receiver. Which is it? I'd like to know if it's actually DSMX. As far as I know, it can't be both (or can it?) although if it's DSM2 it will work with a DSMX transmitter.

Well to my understanding, if its a DSMX it will work with DSM2. But really for under $10 are you going to put it on a IMAC plane?

According to HH: a DSMX transmitter will work w/either a DSM2 or DSMX receiver but if a DSM2 rx it will function in the 2 channel lock mode only not in DSMX "channel hopping"
Same for a DSM2 tx, it can be used w/either DSM2 or DSMX rx but will only function in DSM2 mode w/a DSMX rx.
This is the info I got from HH when I sent my DX8 in for the DSM2 to DSMX "conversion/update", I had one of the 400 DX8's that had to be sent in for the update.
Since I got it back I've used it w/both DSM2 & DSMX rx's & it's functioned flawlessly in all cases.

So bottom line these will work with any Spectrum Transmitter.

Well, my point is that it's being touted as a DSM2/DSMX receiver which is misleading. Yes, it will function with any DSM2/DSMX transmitter, but i'd really like to know which it is. It looks like a rebadged HK receiver, but since they're blowing out the orange receivers for $5 I expect we'll see a DSMX clone from them soon. There's no sense in buying old technology.

Its not misleading at all, it will work with DSMX or DSM2

Not everyone, including myself, has the new DSMX radio and I have no intention of upgrading.

Sure it will, but if it's a DSM2 receiver, it won't hop which is important to know.

Yes, reading as a lost art.

Post 1 says they are supposed to be in stock Monday as does the link:

"This product will be in stock on Monday 27 June, 2011."

So, are they DSM2 or DSMX?
