The Eastern Soaring League comes to NY June 25/26
The Eastern Soaring League will be coming to Long Island this weekend for some unlimited sailplane flying fun.
Contest info and registration can be found here: http://www.flyesl.com/contest_regist...tail.asp?cid=9 We will have two one day contests, so you can come for Saturday, or Sunday or both. There will be awards each day and an overall weekend champion. I hope you can make it because we are going to have a grand time. The grass is cut, the weather looks good and we have 32 pilots registered. The only thing missing is you. |

SATURDAY – Partly Sunny. Slight chance of a morning sprinkle but clearing with sun coming out. High around 78 degrees with winds of 6 mph going to 10 in the afternoon. Looks like a great flying day for the ESL.
SUNDAY – Sunny, 77 with winds of winds of 6 mph in the morning going to 10 mph in the afternoon. Another beautiful day for an ESL contest. |
