I used a can of computer keyboard "air" and blew out that aileron servo in the UM T-28 over & over while I worked the aileron stick and sipped a Pepsi One with my 3rd hand.
It seems to be working okay, but I don't trust it any more than rc_noob's brother.

So, I'm leaving the upper fuse off the lower fuse 'til morning to see if it'll still work. You know how these things can be temperamental.

I also ran some static tests using different UM lipos: 160, 250 and 300 MAH sizes and the ailerons worked each time.

So, I guess it's fixed for now.

Now if I can get my frickin' shoulder working again....

I also got the FW190 fixed, except for two mounting blocks of balsa that were missing, They must've fallen off the cowl in the crash. Tomorrow morning, I'll scour the crash site -- or I'll have to cut some new ones out of some balsa from the craft shop.

Yeah if there's one thing I learned when hitting 30, is that you have to be careful and take care of your body. In my teens and 20s I could lift ungodly amounts of weight and never worry. As soon as I hit 30 the problems started so I had to really be careful and watch the weight I was pulling around off the floor. 460 lbs deadlifts worked in the 20s.. in my 30s I ended up with a back herniation in the L4 disc so I had to keep it around 350 lbs instead just to be safe. That herniation took over 2 years to heal to the point where there isn't daily pain anymore! Now at 34, I take it easy. I don't have a job that beats me up physically every day - just mentally

Hey guys, I am on top of the world tonight. I have a tree gig for wednesday. But, I got off the phone and sold a gig for saturday too. hahaha. A bigger gig. Aw, man, sorry to hear about the misfortune, Mac -- I loved the unique look of that yellow T-28, with all our white/orange ones running around.

I can imagine the damage a Radian prop could do to a UM... (shudder)...

They had an in-flight at our little field just yesterday, and it just seems to mostly come with the territory when it is incidental, but as you say, when launching you need to make sure the way is clear.
