Awesome Flying! Sweet Heli!

Sorry, I don't do 3D stuff. I think it is cool but, it's just not my thing. So, I'll be really boring for ya!

Hope to see you and meet you soon!

Hey.. will you teach me to do loops and rolls on my 600? I'd like to do that!! I also want to do stationary flips from a hover.

This is about as exciting as I get..

I started flying a year ago with fixed pitch heli. I got pretty good with that. Then I bought a CHEAPO collective pitch 450 which doesn't fly worth a crap. So, this winter I built the T-Rex 600EFL and I have about 8 flights on it so far. It's still a little intimidating for me at this point. I'm only running 1900 rpm, 80% power, -+10 collective, -+9 cyclic because I'm into scale/pattern stuff.

On the Simulator, I can do inverted flight, loops, rolls, hammerheads... I'm just chicken to do it with the T-Rex until I'm super comfortable with it. I still do not have the gyros where I want them yet. It certainly has enough power to do whatever a person wanted. It just takes a pilot!

I usually fly on Sundays. If my parts get here this week, I may try to go out and test new gyro settings. If you go, let me know!

I know what you mean. I'm calm now when I fly it, but my hands were shaking those first 5 flights! You can even hear my binding plug rattling on the TX in video #5, I was shaking so much.

Catch my blog sometime at http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...=1385262&pp=20. It's an open topic forum for heli, planes, anything that flies.

I'll have it this week for sure. I've been working 12-14 hour days at work. It should only take me a few minutes to make the stencil.

I flew Sunday until my 3GX failed on take off, again. I'm ordering a BeastX.

I have one more week of teaching. I teach all day and work on canvas jobs every evening. So, I'm booked-up through next weekend. After that, I'll have time to help you. I'd go today but, it's Father's Day and I'm going to visit my Dad. Sorry, we'll get it done some day.

Russ,

Any new news on the Sept 9th B-25 Opening and Rc demo. We should start discussing the times. Also Griffing airport is moving over there. We need to make sure all is clear and that they are aware of the closing.
