For people who wants to get RTH function and one of other autopilot functions together.

I use throttle cut switch to trigger RTH and aux channel for any other functions.

That seems to be the most convenient config. I use a throttle/aux mix to force throttle to 110% for RTH. That frees up the Aux channel for FBW et al.
Since we are using PPM input and RVOSD sees all channels on this string, why not dedicate a different aux channel slot to FBW, RTH, and all the other a/p functions, rather than sharing a channel. Of course you would need more channels. I already use all8. Ail1/Ail2/Ele/Thr/Flap/Pan/Tilt/OSD. Miss out on rudder directly. Usually Y lead off aileron.

seriously.....been waiting for this for way too long.....I wonder if they know that they have at least $5000 of orders waiting to be made if not more.

Its a shame, we always get ignored, and its not because of the holidays, its been this way for a long time, perfect example of a company that knows too much they have a great product and dont think its a good idea to take care of customers...

bad thing is a sold a completely working EagleTree OSD with guardian for this RVOSD5, the buyer of my OSD got a killer deal....my brother who use to have a RVOSD5 switched over to Dragon OSD and LOVES it.

i had one of the original dragon osd's ......not to be a d--k, but i may give the newest version a try......no disrespect to range video, but i have 2 rvosds, a gen 3 and a gen 4, the gen 3 was in a crash and needs a new gps receiver (is got wet and shorted and a new current sensor which also got wet.....miraculously, the osd still works...and so i hooked up the 5 hz gps receiver from my old dragon to the gen 3 and switched the setting in the menu to 5hz and it works great on one of my planes but just doesn't have a current sensor (which i have been waiting for). the gen 4 obviously works great...and so I wanted a 3rd osd for my other plane for xmas (a maxiswift that is brand new) and was so looking fwd to getting the gen5 with its imu and other stuff (i never did the thermopile sensors - too much crap) but looks like something has gone wrong with rangevideo as a company...its not like them to not respond to chats and mails and it just seems weird that they didnt have any stock for xmas........ i love the product and would never bash the company, but i may have to find an alternative if the info stays at zero and they never get anymore product on their website....happy holidays.

one of the reasons I gave it up and got myself 2nd DOSD. same with case for Liberator HP, we know the all coming out soon , but you know so is Christmas and other nice days.

I have a Dosd v2 and two RVOSD G5's, they are both excellent pieces of hardware but the RVOSD is much easier to set up. I do wish Rangevideo's communication was a bit better. Hopefully things will clear up in January!
