You can do like you want, but i would never operate a transmitting device without antenna, this will make it overheat and can cause damage.

HDOP is the GPS accuracy. The RVOSD is set by default to set home at 1.36.


The angle is the angle the plane is in relation to you and the ground.

I have a question about Altitude Limit setting in Autopilot mený in RVOSD5
When AHI is set to IMU this limits acts only under Cruise altitude ? Correct ..?
And what happens when you turn on automatic pilot under this limit ?

So -90 means that the plane is at right angle below your feet.

Imeiv - I think you have quite a few things mixed up. When the AHI (Artificail Horizon Indicator) is set to IMU that means that the osd is using the IMU for all AP(Auto Pilot) functions. The other option is IR Sensors. They were used with the g4 and were affected by clouds, water, anything that had a temperature different from its surroundings. Cruise Altitude + Altitude Control Limit will determind what altitude the rvosd will attemt to keep the plane at. When the plane is above the combined hieght of the Cruise Altitude + Altitude Control Limit, the rvosd will use the glide throttle setting and try to descend to the determind altitude. When the Plane is below the determind the altitude, the rvosd with use cruise throttle to attempt to stay or try to get to determind altitude.

You say that if I active autopilot at 50meters it brings the plane to 100meters (default value for Limit Altitude) ? I would think it brings the plane to Cruise Altitude (200m default value)..

Yes, I specifically called the IMU because the instructions talk about it in Altitude Limit. And say "When the AHI source is set to None, this limits PID action over and under Cruise altitude". This suggests that when AHI source is set to IMU the limits acts ONLY over OR under Cruise Altitude.
