Try not to copy and paste the password (blanck spaces are sometines added...)

Type : RvosdSequencer and let the username empty...

I have a question about the altitude when it comes to waypoint navigation.

When using RTH I have set an upper and lower altitude, and I have set my plane to turn off the motor and glide, when flying from the upper altitude, down to the lower altitude.

In waypoint navigation, does the plane also glide down if waypoint 1 = 300 meter altitude and waypoint 2 = 100 meter altitude, or does it descent to 100 meter, with the motor running, and then let the plane build up more speed than it might be able to handle ?

I've just installed and maidened the V5 in a Radian Pro, how cool is 'fly by wire'!

One small problem, I'm not getting any current draw info no matter what throttle setting, it just sits on 0.5A. I do see accurate batt voltage, but the mAh draw only trickles along obviously following the 0.5A draw.

Any ideas?

There have been a few dead current sensors. You are in luck. I have a spare you can have until your replacement arrives, if its dead.
Yes FBW is brilliant. Great for thermalling. You might want to tweak it up a bit as the default settings are quite conservative.

I tested autopilot yesterday again. It was cool. Flew in circles this time not a figure eight. :]

Not yet! When I properly "prop out" my plane my take offs will be tons easier. But I will keep you updated.

I have on moderately windy days.

FBW really helps keep things stable.

Since ground speed is used instead of air speed I had the heading indicator go in reverse once

RTH can fail in high winds.
Example: A strong tail wind will cause you to have a high ground speed, but low air speed. This might lead to a stall, but it would have to be pretty dramatic to cause a crash.
A strong head wind may cause the aircraft to just just point home but not actually get there any time soon. This depends on what your cruise throttle is etc.
A side wind will case the aircraft drift as it heads home, it will constantly correct, but it isn't smart enough to vector in for shortest path.

Does it shows the speed negative, like -20km/t if there is enough headwind to push the plane backwards ?

No, it doesn't know which way the plane is pointed so it just thinks the plane is facing the opposite direction. A magnometer would be nice in a situation like this. I've had it happen many times. As a matter of fact, it happened to me yesterday. Calm on the ground but very windy up high.

Thanks Frank, I'll be in touch when i get home.

I will tweak the FBW settings a bit as it was super stable but manouevred with all the agility of a houseboat.

FBW takes a while to get used to, you really got start moving those stick around to do anything
