i would like to have all the data glued to the borders of the screen with RVOSD
like in OSD644 or like with DragonOSD+v2
is that possible with RVOSD? i find data is too much centered, so its intrusive
i want glue data to the border, does rvosd allow it?

You can change it to the "simple" screen. Much less "stuff" on the screen that way. Or you can just turn the screen off and have "warnings" set to display when the main screen is off.

You can also make the display wider, it sorta puts the info into the corners.

Most people use video goggles for piloting. I could make the data go more to the borders but then you will have big time trying to read it due to optical distortions. So I decided that does not worth it.

its the max distance the plane can travel, based on batttery capacity and current amps in use, speed and glide ratio

I would really like to turn the RVOSD5 180 degrees, so that the rear is in front, and the front is pointing towards the tail - is this possibly ?

Yes

AHI pitch dir:
If the AHI source is set to Thermopiles. This menu can correct the AHI pitch movement if the pitch sensors need to be placed reversed on the plane. If it is noticed that the AHI pitch is working backwards, change this parameter.
If the AHI source is set to IMU. This menu allows reversing the OSD board placement in the front-rear direction.

Who's the man at RV??

I know that I'm probaby one of the most impatient people on the northern hemisphere , yet I wonder if RV really can deliver what they advertize. I too ordered a RVOSD 5 a while back but it has not been shipped. Since yesterday, their page sais that they are out of remotes (as Alex, aka Elchepo mentioned above), but it also says that they would ship them with a surogate remote for the time beeing. Sure enough, the order still says processing So monsterjoe, you're not alone - if that helps any.

I can understand that products can be out of stock, but I do not understand that Vova doesn't care about their customers. None of us knows how long we need to wait until he gets up and puts a couple of the products from the shelf into the boxes in front of him... In the end it seems to be always Alex who has to smooth things over, and I think Alex should instead be given time to work on more of his wonderful creations (maybe the antenna tracker??)! Could any one please tell us if it's worth canceling our orders or will we get our stuff (which is of course all paid for in advance). I can think of better ways parking my money for the time beeing

And Vova, treating customers with respect doesn't cost you anything. Just a thought.
