Sorry, haven't been able to follow this threat for a while. The parkflyerplastics canopy comes normally with a plywood piece that fits the front of the canopy and you must enlarge the hole into witch it slides in the fuse front. At the rear, I stuck a piece of ply wood to the rear of the canopy where the latch pin would go and made a hole in the thin plywood to take the latch pin. Hope this helps, your plane looks very nice in that scheme!

I used the bms555s for the elevons.
Turnigy 100a esc, rhino 4900 6s.
Fan/motor varied over the years. Haoye 7 blade with an ARC (not from hk) was my first, and most often flown, setup. 1.2kw, 6min flights.

Had the same motor and fan in my Mirage - will fly well. If I remember correctly I was on approximately 1300W. Just not too sure if the ESC will be OK as I had issues with timing on my 1850kv Warhead. These outrunner motors have a higher pole count and the HK ESC cannot run efficiently on high timming. Suggest that you try the setup on a test bench first and ensure that the motor does not stutter at higher RPM range.

Good luck.

I am using the Plush 80a now for about 8 months - had it on your setup and then changed the motor to the Warhead but same esc. It does have a bec but I always try and use a seperate power supply for my RX- If the esc decides to burn, you still have power for the rx.
This clip of a Sabre had the same setup - the Mirage performs better as it is lighter and has less drag.

Here r pics of my Mirage, just arrived earlier at nite. Came with all major airframe components, hardware pack that has retracts, landing gears n some sort of hatch locking hinge. In the box there is catalog but no instructions manual how to assemble n add electronics in the airplane. Does these kits come with some sort of instructions or no?

The instructions they come with are not worth much anyway - check out this thread - loads of info.
