A-1 Skyraider from Starmax 1600mm

Hi guys!

I'm happy to show you the 1st, the A-1 skyrider from Starmax.

I received this morning 2 samples that will be show the the biggest model rc show / fair in France.

I was waiting for long time, like some of you...Now it is reallity!

It is very well finish (better than P-51 from Starmax), equipment is full and very nice looking...

It has flaps, air brakes, retracts...So 2 servos 9g for ailerons, 2 9g for flaps, 3 9g for air brakes, 1 30g for rudder and tail retracts, 1 30g for elevator. And 2 retracts servoless for main landing gear, 90° rotative.

It also has sort of doors at the front of the langing gear, but no doors for the wheels...

4 blades propeller + hub. Plastic cowl with exhausts, bombs, aux. tank, rockets...

I love it!

To be continou: Video to show it out of the box, piece by piece.

See you

I'm not an expert on the Skyraider's scale details, but this airplane looks really great to me!

What kind of foam is used?

I really want that plane. Looks great to me. What is the protrusion just below the speed brakes in photo number two?

I wasn't sold on the bomb bay idea but it probably would work like one. You could probably throw something up in there.

I appreciate the efforts from Starmax for such details, features, and a non usual airplane ... but I just don't like this plane

That is what I tought in first time, but some A-1 could transport troop.

But you're right, this A-1 must be a A-1J. So airbrake.

Benjamin, je te comprends, mais il est tellement inhabituel...
