I am looking for a Quad Blade head for smartmodel 500 EC-145. If price is
not the factor to consider, CopterX flapping one or Align one better?

I'd go for the Align head...cant be beat. Then a BeastX to round up a nice fuss-free package. Maybe a few unweighted scale blades too...my 3 scale-bladed T500 AS350 with a BeastX turned out very nice.

I'd like to see a build thread also

I think too big. It would be nice if Funkey would get into the smaller size heli arena...they make some very nice stuff in comparison.

I was considering making a stretch hybrid of my T500 AS350 into a Funkey .50 AS350 using a longer boom tube and longer belt, as my current 3 blade head would fit 600mm blades since it uses spacers to fit 425mm class blades. The only issue is the T500 mini servos, I'm pretty sure they might be somewhat unhappy with the load of such large blades. One can dream though....
