Nobody has ever failed with the Multiplex Easyglider

You need to get to know slope flyinging before you can start scratchbuilding slopers

Sure, but you should have some experience with sloping before throwing a 737 off the cliff!

There is a whole lot to learn. It´s not like flying with power, just apply throttle and pull the elevator and up it goes... You have to understand how lift is generated, this varies from hill to hill. Landing is absolutely the most tricky part since you fly through the turbulence/rotor and land on top of the hill.

The best way to learn is by flying, preferably a plane that handles well, and that is made to withstand the beating it will have to go through in the beginning.

I recommended the Multiplex Easyglider, but Windrider flying wings will also do fine.

Have a look at the video of my A380 from Windrider:

Windrider Airbus A380 on slope (4 min 19 sec)

The beginning of the video is from a flight that did not go too well. I miscalculated the lift needed and had to land far down the slope (without any damage - I was lucky) The video also shows the landing. What you don´t see is me fighting to find enough lift to keep it in the air. And that in particular is one of the challenging things about sloping, how to stay airborne when lift is marginal.

Now this is enough off-topic - let´s head back to the Dash 8
