Thanks All.

Good question. Inlet area ??? I figure something that looks scale. Since I tend to keep my planes on the ground for a long take off run, if my intakes are a bit small, shouldn't matter much once moving.

Radius intake lip. Scale is pretty much without one, so my plan is to not have one.

Back up plan:
If all the "scale' sizes/shapes don't work well I can change them or, use my wren 54 to power it..

No problem.

Please ask and I will try to answer any questions.

Love Italy, we were there visiting family in 2007. From north to south. 30 days of family visits.

Amazing country, amazing people, amazing history.

So, a nice place to visit, but would not want to live there. Ok, I did see a few things that make me glad I'm in US.

Especially politics in Italy.

Anyway, easier to build 104 than to rebuild Italy.

Hi Steve a Question. you have already thought about the type of operating the moving parts of the wings? ... I was thinking about today, and I must admit that these appear to be black beasts "very difficult to do"

I'll get back to my completion soon.

Hi.. That is a very difficult section to get correct. My on line 3views have the fuse sections that make it a little easier. Keeping in mind that the fuse is pretty much round in that section just with intakes attached to it..

Another very good source for how it should look is wwwgrubbyfingers.

Basically, looking at the pics of the section, aft the intake duct section, is a straight line back to the wing fairing.

Make it look good to scale according to your eye, and make both sides the same. That's my policy.

I used the same pics.

But if I were to start again, I would use the 3views shown on the site called Fiddelersgreen F-104. Had I used the 3views shown there it would have been less work with the one extra lofting position at the wing root TE. That would make your intake easier to fabricate correct.

There is also a paper model the guy shows, it shows a good perspective on shapes if intake was flat sheet.

I would post the link, but my kid is the one that help me with that. I haven't got that link thing down yet.
