Riva Aquarama 1:10
Finally i got my kit.
It was worth the long time waiting.
The quality of the kit is the best i ever seen, those Italian really did it.
The quality of the parts, and all is really superb. This is NOT my last armati kit.

Contens of the box
A lot of shining new bits, and plenty of crisp tender wood, to put into the shape of a wonderfull Italian runabout.
The instructoin are really good to, in Italian and English (first noticed the English after i sweared about an instruction in only Italian)...

Preparing the ribs.
Of course i cant wait, i gotta start building right away. And its the only day of the year where there is something worth watching in the telli... LE MANS
Did see some sad crashes tho.. (Tom Kristensen did not get to race this year ;( his car got crashed before he had a chance of driving it.)
Well did the keel and ribs, its a pleasure working on a kit like this.
And its so huge (86 cm.) compared to my Diva.

This really will be a BEAUTY!
There is actually nothing about true boatbuilding compared to this Riva Aquarama. Top of the list!
(Oh - shut up jealousy! - Robert is considered a friend!)
Robert, Iīm really happy for you.
This kit looks so very well designed and detailed - Iīm speechless.
Even only the ribs of that beautifully curved stern are turning me on allready.
Just keep your patience and donīt mess it up,
just because you canīt wait to get it done.

i would love to build a boat like this, i'm jealous aswell sharky
i still say a 36mm (can diameter) 74mm (can length) 2000kv brushless motor with a 3s, 5000mah lipo and 60a brushless esc will get this gorgous boat running on the water like she should be (remember to watercool/proof the motor and esc)

The front is begining to look like a Riva.
Back again, got some car trouble...
Now the front is begining to get some shape, and look like a Riva as it is suposed to.
It is MUTCH wider than i expected, there will be loads of room for LIPO packs

Putting in the last pieces of the puzzle in the front end.
|Jun 18, 2011, 05:40 AM|
Fixing the support for the rudders and the aft hatch over the engines, i would love 2 V12's down there.

I love that AMATI-Framework!
this looks like good progress to me!
And some accidents may allways happen.
I like your attitude of not letting this slow you down.
Do you understand, why somebody here is complaining about that amati-kit?
The .pdf-files/plans there donīt seem to be complete either.
Especially the rounded stern frames are missing,
which are an essential part of the Riva Aquarama design!
So I still would love to get those Amati-plans from you,
as soon you got time to scan them.
Good job - just keep on rocking!
