GoPro tips and tricks for FPV
Did my first flight with a GoPro onboard today. Used 1080p HD video mode. Much better quality than the keyfob I was using.
What sort of tricks have you picked up for taking really nice video and photos of your area?
It was overcast today, and if I got too much sky, the ground would blacken out. Noticed some slight vibration during engine, but maybe thats cause I was looking for it. Best not to move to quickly, otherwise the jerkiness is annoying. Noticed some slight jaggedness during panning, but that may be my SD card? Does 60fps reduce jaggedness? Video stills were crystal clear though. Quite amazing. Are the 1080p video stills the same quality as the photo mode? Are all photo modes the same quality? Is sound the same quality regardless of mode?
I have FPV gear for it, but am taking it one step at a time. One idea I have is to drill a hole in the case and secure the VTX line out (same price as skeleton case, better coverage around line out plug).
