Thinking about getting Yuri over here to sign mine right here. The plane itself won't ever leave the premises unless I take it flying... and certainly not to be taken care of by any postal or parcel service!

Guys,I am pretty bad when it comes to paperwork.
I made about 24-30 of X-planes
Killed two of them myself and guess I was only one ,why ever totaled one
I'll be working on new molds after vacation.
Dont think I need to change anything in new molds, just want to make long lasting ones.
I did make a new plug for the fuse ,which will take 6S and 15 series NEU motors/gearbox.But according to the records there are just TWO people
who flies her on 5S so far.So ,why bother with 6S fuse?
When I put 5S in mine and changed spinner to 7 degrees twisted ,I realized that
probably is a limit to airframe and certainly short life for the batteries.
What I will try to make in the future ,is a very light version for light power set
fun fly.
I dont think I ll be doing custom orders anymore
If I will be making them again,You will find them in classified section .
Stay tuned
Thank You all for great support.
Yuri.

Servo amps

Hi!
Can anyone post an appx number of amps drawn from a flight pack by a set of DS09s during a "normal" flight (as if there's anything "normal" with the X ).

I'm sitting here with two batteries - one I think is too large (Zippy 2S700 LiFe) and one I think is too small (Hyperion CX 2S240 LiPo).

Btw: The servos arrived on my door today, one week on the hour after I ordered them from aircraftworld). The AMDs have the same sticker as the faulty ones, so I'm kind of anxious about them...

Yuri! Enjoy your break

Arcteryxxx,

I have 5 ds09's in mine, and I use a 320 2s Hyperion lipo. I put about 50mah back into the pack most of the time after a flight.

Ok! So will it be ok to use the Hyp CX G3 25C 2S240 LiPo with charging between every or every second flight? I mean: the size of that pack equals the size of the CC BEC. Sure is easy to fit anywhere if so. Between the ribs of the motor heatsink even (no I won't, but I could....)

Anyone have the NUKE3 servo in the tail? If so - any thoughts?
It's a tiny thing rated at 4.8V max input...

Yeah, i did have the nuke3 in my tail. It almost caused me to lose my x on the 1st flight

Replaced with a ds09 right away and its fine.

The nuke couldn't centre to save itself.

And i would be recharging the 240 lipo after every flight.... Would hate to loose a x because of a battery I've also got that battery hooked to the SPC port in my hitec RX, so I can monitor the voltage during flight.

D47 will since they are smaller than the ds09 i put in, but i have no idea about a d60, never seen one in person.
