You know Jacko,I had same idea to make X-plane X-lite,but no matter how hard I tried to tip stall her,she was still under control,even on turn.
I cant say I am flying her heavy loaded but she is bit over 1Kg .

Yuri, the TP G6 2200mah 5s 45 C will fit in X-plane, they are only 41mm heigh.

Impossible to say, depends on battery temp, airplane speed, speed controller brand and settings, etc. etc.

Yepp, but if you say 20 degree celcius, plane is flying straight up, esc ice 100-200A, setting ?? would that matter. maybee a few amps.

Im not talking about knowing if its 172.7 or 169.8 amps..

More like 170-180, or 160-170 ..

Looks like 200A to me. I've found this calculator to be fairly reliable, so I would guess its within 5% of this number in either direction...

well I think it will be a bit lower, you are using a custom 16x17 propp wich probably is much wider then the 16X17 slim, therfore draw more amps, and I also think a 4900mah lipo will rise the amps a bit compared to mine 2200mah..

I would guess around 170. maybee a bit more like 175-180 the first seconds of the fully charged lipos..

Yuris setup wich is exactly like mine, just he has a 3600kv motor draws 200 amps.

Thats an old 4900mah battery, meaning the IR is comparable to a modern 2200 mah battery. Note the voltage under load is only 15.66V in that simulation, which is likely LESS then you'll actually experience.

Furthermore, the prop constant for a "thin-folding prop" is 1.18 according to the calculator. I made my prop constant 1.03, based on my real life experience with my own personal 16x17S that I have done calculations for.

So, i'm rather confident that your current will be very close to that. I've spent a fair amount of time shuffling numbers around that program

OK, I can live with 200 amps, so it seems there is no difference in having a 3150 or a 3600 kv motor, I thougt there would be a gap between these motors, even though Yuris motor is 9 gram lighter.

Ok, anyway even if the amps are around 180-190 , I still have to get a bigger esc...
maybee I should wait for the ICE 150 to come out, would be the perfect one for this.

This is by fare the most amazing work I have seen, Not just beacause this is my plane, but I think its on of the best x-planes so far design wise..

you are the MASTER, you make the most beutiful planes in the world, period.

I think the Viper and Jibe looks like poor man design/colours/finish compared to this one..
