I am second that Jacko.
And NOT for advertisement purposes.
After I flew her for a first time I went back home and asked myself a simple question. Why do I need my other planes ? Well... at least similar to my X-plane.I knew, from now on, they will be sitting on the shelf forever.
Like after driving a Ferrari ,You dont really want even to look at other cars.
........bottom line, this year .I sold all my planes in this class and left one of each different span.
Currently I am working on my new X-plane ,cause it started raining little by little

I will go back to lurking and drooling over this thread... Y'all are building/flying some rather impressive planes.

I hear ya Dbox, I keep eyeing up my planes... or their power systems... "You'd do better X'd..."

Maybe a half dozen different fuselages, and 2-3 Different X wings would be the solution

A glass/carbon lightweight fuse
A light carbon F5D style fuse with a 30mm nose
The Uber strong carbon fuselage I have
A Vtail X, just because it'd look awesome....

Uber strong double carbon wing, and a light carbon wing etc etc etc...

Mix and match fuselages too wings to suit powersystem/flying style...

Before you know it winter will be over Yuri

I have one of those spinners Yuri, dont think ive ever used it.

Just measured it up.

MPJet 30mm spinner is 29.6mm
HK 30mm spinner is 31.3mm
RFM 32mm spinner is 31.9mm

It might look OK on the X's nose.

Jacko and rest of pylon lovers .
I will make one fuse with slightly extended nose and measure outside diameter.
I think I can do 31mm for HK spinner.
Yuri.
Will post pix soon.

I do not trust their spinners. I have some in a drawer.
You have to be lucky!
The best option is the Tru-turn spinner.
As Jacko said: "They do what you want".
