Depends on where you live. NZ is long and skinny and spans sub-tropical to sub-antarctic climates! Take your pick......

It's been a while since I touched my x-plane, but ended up getting a new radio that can handle a 4 servo wing a little more easily. I'll be running the mega 16/35 but I need to find a esc and battery. Is the Neu 4s and the ice 100 still the setup to go with? I'm trying to catch up on the thread, but i'm still 40 pages back and am hoping to run to the hobby shop tomorrow. Thanks for the help.

Are you running a gearbox and large prop or direct drive?

I think 5s and a bigger esc is the end game for most X's (and a bigger prop, like 16x17).

4s will run fine though and will be ok on that ESC most likely. I started with a 4s and 14.5x14.

However I don't suggest 5s on the 100lite... I cooked a 100lite in a single flight on mine. If you can't find a p125, try a YGE/YEP/Himodel 150, or a 200 red brick if you don't want to change the esc later.

It's semi hard to find 5s's that fit, but any 2200 4s should be fine.
