Himodel is a wholesaler, they don't produce products.
For the ICE controllers, they are made at Sunrise.
I had the Beta version of the software, at this moment all controllers have the 2.0 software.
They also announced that at their website,

The brake is hard, harder than an YGE and the esc is very reliable, i flew with 3500 watts on 4S with a 1 second ramping, the ESC did not get warmer than 54 degrees in competitionflights, outside temperature was about 30 degrees Celcius.

Why aren't I'm surprised?

With daylight savings being kicked back,and the holidays,i have not had much fly time these days....so it felt nice to get a bunch of flights on the X today ....and lack of vid time has also takin it's toll Oh well.

How can you tell which version of the software a particular controller has? I have 3 ICE controllers which I bought last summer ... would they be version 2.0?

I am not bored at all with it,it is just so nice to have it flying so perfect every flight for so long,it has become my go to plane for a long time now,it goes out with me every day i hit the field......I still remember all the issues i had in the begining with learning ....I will get that CC125 and 5S in there soon,when i grow a mans set .Great picture,sounds like Hawaii is treating you well....and i am off to the cold and rain in 4 days.

Recognized the beach with Molokini in the background. Used to live on Maui and also went back for Honeymoon. Big Beach is my favorite spot for boogey boarding and body surfing. Waves are always perfect over there. They can get some huge swells though.
