The 16/35/1 5.2 on a good 4S pack is still pretty darned impressive (at least to me). I personally will see no need for 5S anytime in the near future.
Like you said...trim it with a good 4S pack and see what you get. BTW, the TP 2200 65C 4S is worth consideration. That's what I saw this power system rocketing on. jacko, I'm very interested in how you deal with the BODA. I am using the Optima 6,7, and 9 in 3 of my planes, all with a slightly different mounting/exit of the aentenna. I will likely be using the 7 also. Or the 6 with a Sport BEC which uses the TH channel. When I get mine I can decide on a sepreate RX pack or BEC once I see how much room I have to work with. I expect mine to arrive Tues or Weds can't wait![]() Bill |

1 x Roll of masking tape for labelling all the signal wires 1 x helping hands clampy thing http://www.amazon.com/Dual-Helping-H.../dp/B0002BBZ2Y 1 x little clamp on heatsink to stop heatshrink shrinking when close to iron.. All the positives and negatives can be collected together, only the signal wires need to be seperate. Putting the power wires at the ends of the plug makes soldering easier. 4 signal wires in the middle. If you want to remove take the four +/-'s and run one wire (like ive done on the wing side of the plug), make sure its a grunty enough gauge to handle the current of 4 servos. Take ya time, measure twice, cut once and check it often. And make sure you put the heatshrink onto the wire before you solder the plugs on ![]() This is the first time ive tried soldering 4 servos through one 6 pin multiplex plug, so its possible ive totally cocked it up!

1) The DVD may not be nessasary.
2) I have used masking tape to label wire on other situations .3) I have the helping hands thingy somewhere , I hope I can find it.4) I am painfully aware that tranfering heat can prematurely shrink the heat shrink , and to slide it on the wire "before" soldering .I may just be over thinking it as I usually do. Even if you "cocked it up" as you say, you made a very neat job of it . It does look simple enough. Thanks, Bill |

Hyperion 5S 2200mha 45C fits too,if You are desperate .
You just need do do it in the right sequence . But what it does ,it pushes two wing attachment bolts apart for about 1mm and it is a little pain to screw the wing on . @ Dave 200mph was my initial set Mega 16/35/1 geared 5.2 16x17 slim 5S old Hyperion battery. You doing great build Jack, pleasure to look at ![]() Yuri. P.S. New fuses will be available soon ![]() ![]() very soon.
