Just had a photo session in my kitchen with 4 different 5S2200 lipos. All have extra "shoulder pads" of alu to prevent puncture from the wing bolts
First: Gens 55C. Fits nice. 40.5mm
Second: Sky 40C. Fits nice too. 40.8mm
Third: Gens 30C. Fits great as width goes (39.5mm) but is about 8mm longer and gives me a hard time to fit the 2S700 life I use for the rx.
Last: Genesis 55C. No chance!

Anyone do these tests with a Viper? The TP 2250 45c will not fit. Well it will fit but there is a gap between the wing and fuse. It will go sideways if u trim the saddle top. Not trying to do that. And question I have. I see 35c, 45c and 65c. Is there a big difference or is it as long as u have the voltage ur good to go.

Hold on w/the genesis 55C! I double checked this AM when going out to fly and saw a 4s was in the wrong place and not labeled (I mark the batt's w/the cell count - usually).
So disregard that battery. Will go back and edit the earlier post..

sorry!

LOTS OF PROGRESS for me this weekend,I finally have the CG working with the most amount of deflection from the control surfaces, with no ill effects ...and now the Full Throttle Launches are a non event, just fun.....but a part of me misses the body buzz of being a bit scared of the launch....might almost be time to step up the power ...Again Yuri, thanks for such a FUN plane to rip around.
X-Plane from Yuri,What a Blast ! (6 min 4 sec)

Incredible flying, Doug!
Can you tell me your total motor-on time and how much capacity you draw from the battery?

53 back works for me,the tail gets a bit slippery for my taste if i go any more, but i have alot of surface movement, would not be good for playing Wanna-B-Pylon Racer But i am working on a mode for Pylon Style as i have put the GM 11X22 Folder on my X a couple times, and will try a pair of Sawtooths for 's and Giggles....The 16-35-1 5.2 on 4S with F5D Folder is kind of fun....It makes it a Pylon-Liner.
