I WISH !!!! I would love to give a go at racing,but there is nothing going on for a 1,500 mile radius...I have one bud at my field that got a EF-1 Pylon when i did mine,and we race a bunch,but that is it....As far as any other interest,another friend now has my Stinger 1 and is very into getting an X-Plane to setup with a F5D Folder set.....Only racing that i could do around here is Q400,but i gave up on Nitro years ago....So for now,i will just travel around and do what i have been doing for years,Half Time
shows with the Freestyle Birds ....sorry to disgrace the HP Thread with this junk ...and remember to say Hi to my dog Diesel when he barks LOL

Just a shame i was the one getting violated that day .Myself and a couple buddies traveled some hours to go fly at that event,and do the half time show.....the wind was WICKED that day,and i cought a massive dead spot.....kind of like my last X-plane video .There have been two guys that have posted on this thread "Gonepostal" and "Smoothflyer" We travel ALOT all over the East Coast doing Giant Scale Aerobatic events.....Now Smoothflyer has a Viper,but he lives a couple hours from me,and only get to hang with him at events...Wish Gonepostal would get into the FAST stuff,cause he lives alot closer.

I'm aware of the fact that I'm starting to sound like the Swede....

Had a BLAST flying the X today...we had our labor day fly in with some BBQ...YUM !....Since i was not sure what to expect from my first boom repair on an HP plane (and my Swist is blown up ),i spent the day flying my aerobatic gasser....when things started to slow down,and people left,i decided to give the X a rip...and also figured,SCREW IT,i want to launch full throttle and get it over with (but LOVE that torque over 60%)...this might sound crazy,but it handles better after the repair (don't get all pissy Yuri )Yes,i have been getting my butt kicked since this is my first hotliner,but days like today make it all worth while...I enjoyed the heck out of all 4 flights....you could not smack the smile off my face....Vid from first flight.

If the X is still alive after the speed craze I'm chasing right now I would like a decent and fun setup to just play around with, and I would like your opinions of a possible setup mostly made of what I already have in my drawer:

NEU 1115/1Y, KPG 4.2, P125(mod), RFM 12x17 on 5S2200 55C Gens.

At least the calc shows some numbers I could call a decent setup...


What do you guys think?

Looks like somehow close to my 4S scorpion setup:

HK 2221-7 Reisenauer 5:1, 12x16 4S 2200 Nano 45C YGE120

Very nice sport setup,medium exceleration,good climbrate, very reliable even with the small scorpion,the Neu may take even longer runtime althoug your weight will be higher.
