latest firmware ...and no on the static..I figured all was good cause many have run this setup,and all was just fine with the 14.5X14.

Yes I have a cc10 BEC w/2 cell lipo....and I did fly it for a second,enough to get the wings level,and if I pulled any harder on the elevator,it would have stalled.I did the best I could for launching,and just getting my hands back on the TX.But like I said,this plane is wicked strong,and damage to it is minimal ....but I am sick of if cutting off on me.

Thats strange it decided to die just on a prop change.

I know it gets more expensive now if CC is not a choise.. Still its strange it just shutdown like that..

My first intension was F5B setup on my viper, but no way, to many problems with this setup (driving eveything above their limits), and there is the "thrills" of launching also... Im going for geared F5B 11x22 prop...

I hope you get it sort out... both with the setup and plane, and what you you want from here..

A lot of the heli guys are loving the hobby wing controllers, I know it's a cheaper brand but when we got sick of the cc's catching fire we tried hobby wing's and they have been flawless. The specs say the 100A version can take 150A burts. Might be worth a look. I havnt touched the 100A version personally, only the HV120 with the fans mounted.

Still, I've been keeping an eye out for old Phoenix 125's I wish castle still made them, one of the best controllers they have made in my opinion.

the HW 100A escs are no problems at 100A and maybee 150A in bursts, but I dont think they will last long at 170-200A... otherwise they are VERY good escs, have like 4-5 of them and running them within their specs.

How about Joes modified 200A ?

Yuri,i do not know how you do it,but the only damage to my X-Plane airframe,is a bit of lifted paint where the lipo spread the fusalage The Motor mount is even rock solid...it blows my mind that twice i have Smacked this thing face first into the ground,and the only damage is a spinner,and prop blades but i am miffed about the ESC,the lipo did not even hit it,it has no smell,and no melted shrink wrap...it looks and smells brand new,except that it does nothing when powered up.I went to plug it in to check the log,and it burned out my Multi-Usb port .

And the X-Plane is now ready to go again...There was no way i was going to go without it,on this 3 day holiday weekend I am sure things will go better tomorrow.....This thing is an OX

VC You are an expert in powerless launches and You know how to wreck a plane
right way.
I am just a beginner and totaled my X even without even asphalt runway.
You know,,they say......"launch all ways above the grass"
