What size servos fit into the wing?

Will a set of MKS Servo DS470 Digitals work without hanging out in the breeze?

.4" thick

Is that enough servo for the job?

DS470 would be too big sorry. Dymond D60's, Hyperion DS09's, or maybe the new MKS 65K.

I just picked up 5 D60,s from the LHS....Hope they do OK on the flaps : ).

As long as you always remember to pull the flaps back up before landing.
Dragging a flap in the grass would be an invitation for a stripped gear.

Edit,answered my own question......@ Lenny,we have a geo runway that will be a blast to land on with crow....and we will be adding 30ft width to the runway week.

Something that is too small for the power needed

You really do want to get us much battery in there as possible, both for max power + the happiness of the battery.

Yeah, I gotcha.

I would just like a specific brand, C rating, mah that is a good fit without clipping that beautiful airframe.

If I go ahead on this, it's for an old timer at my club, I don't want to make it too difficult for him. I will be making purchase and probably building it for him.

2650 4 cell slides in no problem,with room to work (i would take a pic,but i just put the wing back on) and 2100mah 5 cell.Neu fits the best.
