Installed the ailerons servos and got rid of the slop in the pushrod.
Was going to replace the control horns with something a bit smaller holes.
But just used my #11 blade and made a new hole.
Did anyone notice an improvement in performance with sanding the air inlets?

Update for service from Hobby B---To refresh your memory...I was shipped the wrong motor with my order...(Motor for a 50mm fan instead of a 35mm fan)...I contacted Hobby B and in less than 24 hours I had a reply AND the new motor on the way...

I got the motor today ALL OF THE WAY FROM CHINA 5 calendar days from the time it was sent!!!...This is PHENOMINAL service from a business!!!...Most businesses in the USA couldn't match this service---There was a holiday thrown in the mix as well...

Hobby B has my business!!!...Hopefully, they will expand their inventory with more items as with service like this Hobby B will grow quickly...

Happy New Year All! I feel like I know some of you personally by starting from the beginning of this thread and reading through...at least some of your personal experiences with these great little birds.
Anyway...I am working on my first F-86 update after four very successful flights as a newbie and a stock setup. I have two more F-86's on their way with a bunch of other goodies...Plush 10Amp ESC's, Lil'orange 415's, lots of batts(3s's) and servos.

Not sure if anyone is looking for Buddy Price Codes at Hobby King...but figured I would say thanks to all the "Threaders" out there and share...

Cheers!

Someone mentioned a way to make the holes smaller. They said to use some CA in the hole and keep moving the rod till it dries. Didn't sound like it would work for me so I didn't try it.
Don't forget to paint the parts you sanded so it will be smoother

No worries as it's not strictly a Hobby B discussion...I don't think that Hobby B was in business when these planes first became available...Everyone can use some buddy codes...I'm just really happy with Hobby B's service...Can't get any better!!!...Just keep Hobby B on your mind as the first "go to" place for these planes...The rest of the accessories (RX, batts, servos, etc) you can get elsewhere until Hobby B catches up their inventory...

Again, not a rep, not a shill---Just a very satisfied Hobby B customer!!!

Oh you know me,.
Hit it with about 80 grit and slather it with paint to a fine finish

i ordered (2) Sky Angel 50mm fan units and (1) 35mm fan unit from them. they shipped these in a white flimsy shipping envelope . when i recieved it. the envelope looked really badly worn, and one of the 50mm fan units was kinda deformed. not usable at all !!!

i sent them an email about the packaging & fan. no reply yet after 1 week

I`m looking for a few on the 35mm fan motors. I`m rewinding them to a higher kv, so if you have one that has broken or burned windings, I`ll send you $12.50 by pay pal for one shipped to 75006. They are small enough to mail in a "envelope" made from some thin cardboard. It might cost an extra stamp. Please let me know if you have any that you want to unload.
Thanks, Lee

Has anyone tried the Mig 29 or F-15 with tailerons? I'm taking about cutting the whole elevator off and making them a full flying surface. I've used the linked aileron/elevator set up on other planes, didn't care for it.
