Does the AR6300 have different pos/neg/sig order than those nano servos? I have ordered the Orange micro RX...just wondering if I can plug the stock servos/ESC straight in.

Yeah, wading through the media Don (gp125racer) and I shot. The weather was pretty gray, not the best for media at all. We had another weather front blowing in and got rained out toward dusk. We flew the A-10, the Sky Angel Mirage 2000 with a DonsRC Wicked 6000Kv and Wemotec Micro in it and the Sky Angel Sea Fury Mini War Bird. They all flew nicely.

The little A-10 flew amazingly well! I was very impressed! Takeoffs with the gear are a little tricky but it tracked pretty well. Power is really good, considering it was only flying on 2S. I flew it twice for 2.5 minutes+, putting around 180-200mAh back into the Thunder Power lipos.

I will try to get a full article with more stills and a little video too up on HDFlyer.com in the next day or so.

Yes, the signal arrangement on the Spektrum AR6300 connections is not the same as the servos that come in the Nano EDFs. When I cut the connectors off of the stock servos and ESC that come already installed in the Nano EDFs and soldered the Spektrum connectors on, two of the wires got swapped.

I have the Red Arrows Hawk enroute to me but that A-10 looks like a great way to ease into EDF flying, coming from electric warbirds as I am.

Of course, I'm in a slightly compromised position since I fly from a powered wheelchair on an asphalt parking lot and having gear will help...I'm thinking of attaching a small PETG shield with canopy glue to the lowest part of the Hawk's center section to keep the worst of the scraping down, but it's already got a reputation as a decent flyer so it was too cool NOT to try!

Here's my first flight of the 35mm Hawk after reducing the intakes, giving the tails anhedral and removing the negative incidence PLUS flying in 15 knot winds gusting to around 23!!

I'm tempted to buy one in PNF but would like it to be a good flyer !
My Sabre is showing its age and is ready for retirement . I ended up flying on 3s but it seems way too heavy .

I've also been thinking of fitting an AEO 27mm fan ( 8g )and running 3 1s 160 cells ( 15g ) in series . That would save about 40g , nearly 50% in weight over the stock set up on 3s . It would be slower top speed but that doesn't worry me .

I'm drooling over that 35mm Mig-29.

Are these listed on HK yet? Banana Hobby is supposedly getting them in soon but I have a no pre-order policy.

Thanks for the video. I enjoyed watching it and reading the write-up.

Mine is temporarily grounded. the DX6i just went dead. refused to bind and it also stopped working with the Rx that already been previously bound. I'll have to send it in. Meanwhile, I am also waiting for my DX8 to return from HH.

btw, the 2nd and 3rd planes appeared to be shot from a head mounted cam. Which camera did you use for that?
