Mini Mig-15 EDF from Hobby King
Does somebody own this sexy Mini Mig 15 from Hobby King ?
I bought a (spare parts) kit of this mini Mig15 at HK and received it yesterday :
The parts quality is very good.
A great value for the price
I'm looking for some informations about the center of gravity position of this bird.
Might some one bring me some help on this point ?
Thanks by advance

I bought the same Mig as in your pictures and it has served me well. I've run it without the landing gear and it flies much better without it. Do a search for Art-tech Mig 15 amd you'll find some info regarding useful mods and so on (it's the same model)

Hi fege :
The informations i've found on the Art-tech Mig-15 is the same build that Alpha model (2 parts fuselage - like the real one)
Thank you anyway for the help ;-)
It seems the HK's Mig-15 Spare parts Kit is the twin brother of the Skyangel Mig-15 model (all parts are the same except the paint scheme - there is no red paint on Hk's)
I've found the instruction manual on the Web
May be it can help other people

I just noticed that the MIG in your pics and the one in your link are two different aircrafts. I 've got the one in the pics and as you stated it has a different parting of the fuselage. Anyway, you seem to have solved your problem so good luck with the build.

Hi Fredrik !
You're Right, i 've been misled by the HK web site :
What they call "Spare parts" for Mig-15 seems not to be real spare parts for the RTF Mig-15 they sell but a Kit of another Mig15 clone made by another brand.
the Kit version i received don't allows a landing gear system but have two "fuel tanks" under the wings probably to preserve the fuselage while belly landings on the grass.
Thank you anyway for your visit and your help !
Have a nice day

You win Fege !
I maidened my HK Mig 15 yesterday but with a propeller and not an EDF (sorry..)
This plane rocks !!!
340 grammes ready to take off, she's very fun to fly and what a great looking plane once in the air !!!
I use a 2205C 1400kv brushless + 7x4 prop, a 12A ESC and a 3S 500mAh 20c lipo.
