3dhs 48in Super Vyper
the run down
48 in wingspan
48 in length fuse
130g omega or equivalent
4s 2500 or around there(51 in slick packs will work great in this plane)
get with 3dhs about what servos to use
last day of the FLI i ask Ben to take a spin on the Super Vyper. intial thoughts are its slightly bigger than the 46 in Vyper so ok its just as portable but thats about where the road ends. although only two inches bigger it presented much bigger near or far, it just felt like a bigger airplane. it floated like a bigger airplane as well, you would think you were flying a 65 in Vyper it was so stable in 3d manuevers. i did a 2 and a half rotation "PopTop" which on smaller planes can be difficult to pull off. in other words it carries momentum like a bigger heavier plane would.
where this plane really shines is it draws straight lines across the sky. if you spent any time flying imac or precision (yeah sure its looks totally boring) but its extremely difficult to draw a straight line. this plane does all the thinking for you. its balanced extremely well where you can 3d with it and turn around and fly straight lines without changing the cg.
bottom line is the plane presents well and flies much bigger than 48 inches and its balanced so well it draws straight lines and flies 3d without moving a thing. this is truly a tough act to follow. now i know why Ben has named it the "SUPER VYPER"

Ben didn't happen to mention a price did he? With the Buck and Half Huck, this and the 46" Osiris I'm having some serious issues -- where would I put them all . I gotta sell a bunch of stuff so I can buy more 3DHS toys.

The 46" flew great. The 65" is just awesome. Now the 48, it just keeps getting better. If the 65 is a tad too big then this one will fit perfect! And 4s power all the better!

Saw this at the FLI when I stopped by to pick up a 46" Vyper I bought from a fellow RCG member. I love love love the red scheme on this new vyper. Looks great!! Makes me want to rip the covering off the 46" one I bought to recreate this one.

This one looks really nice! It's a little hard to tell in the pic, but it looks like the horizontal stab/elevator is airfoiled and the vertical stab/rudder is flat?
