Awesome performance, tempting to get a 180 but the 100 would probably be best for someone that never flew 3D.

Nice vids.

I think it's now time to give the 180 it's own topic...

New topic for the "180" is here: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...1#post18459697

The Solo Pro 100 looks like it performs better than the MCPX.

Eflight/Horizon Hobbies' videos of the mCPx also looked quite good.
The question is how will it perform in the hands of a more "ordinary" pilot (who is less able to compensate for any weak points in the heli).

Sounded like the 180 bogged hard in that first flip. But the stock Wk D02 isn't too flash either.

I know audio isn't much to go by but the 100 sounds very similar through flips to the Mcpx.

I hope Nine Eagles are savvy enough to have the same root size and length of the blades.

They'll get a great proportion of the Mcpx replacement parts market (and the V120D02) if the blades are compatible.

Really like a set of all whites for the Mcpx...far easier to see the disc.

That video of the 100 was NOT impressive

I definitely was not sold on the 100 vid. Looks like it performs like a mcp x WITH a dying main motor... It was not flipping as tight, so I would be a little nervous about flipping it in the house?

To anyone who disagrees, watch some mcp vids and then watch this one.

Or, maybe this WAS an average Joe flying it?

Cheers!

It doesn't have fly better than the MCPx or the V100D03BL. All it has to do is to be cheaper and be just as crashproof.

Nine Eagles do have a grand headquarters, they must be very profitable.

I certainly doesn't look as spectacular as some of the early demonstration vids we've seen of the mCP x, where it was flipping all over the place with seemingly no lack of power. But on the other hand quite a few pilots complain about losing the tail hold when being a little more wild on the collective, with some even barely able to get the heli to flip. So there is either a lack of power on some mCP x units, or some bad pilots, although some that had these problems, could flip another heli with ease.

So, whenever the first production units hit the stores, we'll see how powerful it is. Besides, Nine Eagles hasn't been making much mind blowing promotion vids of any of their helis so far. For instance, one of the best vids showing the Bravo SX's flight capabilities is made by Marconos, who sells Nine Eagles, but doesn't work for Nine Eagles. I've yet to see a really powerful NE promotion vid, that shows off really well what their helis can do. Most of the times they perform better than in the vid, usually it's the other way round with many companies, you never get it to perform like in the promotion vids...

I want to see a good and multiple-compatible NE 6 Ch TX before I want to see all those pretty new helis.
If they wont be able to sell an acceptable tx comparable to the Spektrum DX6i and the Walkera 2801 Pro, I probably will not buy those new NE helis...

Btw, to avoid more seperate topics spawning for this heli, because it's also called the "100D" it might be handy to add this to the topic title, so it will read "Nine Eagles Solo Pro 100D / Solo Maxx 3D"

Frank, can you look into this?

Since this heli is far from production, there is no point in reading too much in a single video. If I remember correctly, Walkera seems to have fixed most of the problems of the pre-production V100D03BL within a few weeks.

Transmitter compatibility is a major issue. There is no information to suggest that the two new NE transmitters will have memory for more than one model.
