Hobby King / FMS F-104
Here's a few pictures taken of the Hobby King F-104 Starfighter the day I flew the maiden. Inexpensive and fun EDF jet!

Now how about a report---or better still a review about how this plane flies, handles, lands and takes off , how it is in tight turns, does it bite or is it a pussycat. Nose high stall speed, cobra etc:
This is what we want to hear.

I haven't been flying mine lately! It's current a show piece in the garage. The only EDF I'm flying at the moment is my Airbus A380. I am currently assembling an LX 70mm F-117. Should be fun!

I cut off the the ugly non scale foam tip tanks by slicing them horizontally , thus extending the wing a little bit, I then attached with velcro some much more scale HET tip tanks for show. I haven't tried flying it yet with them on, but they look great.

Here's mine. I cut off the tip tanks and added anhedral. For whatever reason mine was delivered in white, although I have a silver one NIB since it doesn't look like you can get this plane anymore.
I am thinking I will paint up the white one, maybe do that nice tiger scheme. |

F-104 Starfighter
Sorry guys. I have moved to the Blue Mountains and have not got my act together yet.
My 104 came in the very nice Starfighter Display Team colour scheme, and is still NIB except for the altered wingtips and Het tiptanks. It will take a bit of time to set up my new workshop, but I will post some pics in due course. Cheers. Paddy.
