Great! Now if only there were a way for us to ACCESS pictures uploaded and apply them to MULTIPLE posts it would save us from multiple uploading the SAME PHOTOGRAPH repeatedly to different threads and probably would cut storage for media in half at least!! LOL!!

Sorry! We're never happy out here!! I do love this idea though!! LOL!!

I really wish we had this gallery feature for all the photos in a thread (or am I missing it?).

U can already do that. Click the previous photo u uploaded and copy the image URL. Then use the image tool and paste that URL in.

Well, since you used my blog and posts as the example I guess I'm obligated to say that I like it and in fact, I do like it. It's a great little tool!

Thanks.

You're right it can be used although not quite the same as an upload it dies allow the same picture to be used in multiple threads. Thanks for bringing that to my attention!!

Viewing all photos in a thread

Thanks for the effort on this one Terry!

The request that I and many other users seem to have is to view all photos in a thread on a single page or on multiple pages with more than 5 images per page.

This request has been made for a long while it seems after searching the forums.

The closest suggestion I can make is to install the autopager plugin for Firefox and configure it to your hearts content.

This is probably a greater burden on the rcgroups servers but until a suitable solution is offered it is the best solution I have found to this need.

This is awesome!

Is there a way to see the most recent images uploaded to all of RCG? It would be cool to click and see everything that was uploaded that day.

I wanted to see members videos, not the videos of the pro sponsored pilots flying that plane posted in the 1st post. I searched for hours to find some. I wished there was a way to search the thread for videos posted.

Maybe there is a way to do that, I don't know I'm no IT, or programmer. It would save people hours searching through thousands of posts.

Also there is no way, that I can see to delete old attachments from ads from years ago. They are just stuck in the system taking up space, and could be discarded
You can do a search in the thread with the search term, "youtube" and all the posts with the youtube video embedded will come up in the search page.

I've been playing with my own model web pages trying to get it slightly more interesting.

After some digging around I found out how to add a 'mouseover' to show thumbnail pictures full size.

That way I can get a second page with more related pictures to the main one without a user having to scroll around a load of pics.

Here's a link to one of my pages, (a bit crude as it's my first attempt) -

Eflightray's Web Site

I hope it works on other browsers.
