The design of the Y6 is slick and I can see the need for the LED deck to help orient the craft for the operator. Has anyone mounted the LED deck below the Y6 for greater visibility? If the Y6 is over 50 feet I can see problems see the lights for direction.

CrazyJ, I was flying without FPV or any other gear on the Scarab. So the weight was as low as possible.

You looked real close to the wall at times - especially with R3 mode !! Brave... did you break any props?

Anyone have a US supplier of GWS 9050 propellers? Looks like everything I find online comes from China and the reviews are not great for these suppliers, or they take like 4 weeks to arrive. Also, the shipping charge from the MultiWiiCopter site is really high to the US, so I was hoping to find something stateside.

Anyone who needs 3M hex nuts, 3M 5X5 and 5X10 pan head slot Nylon hardware I have a hundred of each. I only needed a few but the nearby supplier only sold in hundred counts. If the count you need is covered by a couple of USPS stamps I will send them to you just for the asking.

Just thought I'd ask to see what others are using to transport/protect their MultiWiiCopters? Considering that these multi-copters don't really fit into standard cases, I decided I would build my own. I found a site called Reliable Hardware in the US that sells the parts necessary to custom build a protective case. If anyone is interested, I can post build pictures. Otherwise, I'd be interested in knowing what other store their copters in.

I think that I'll be able to customize the foam inside to also house my transmitter, batteries, etc. Although it's a bit pricey, I figured that I already spent a bunch on all of the equipment, might as well keep it safe/secure.

I have a large wooden box to transport it in my car. It is quite bulky, but at least copter sits tight in the trunk

I had 2 within a couple of days. Unlucky with some duff batteries - bad connections came apart inside.
Real lucky on the copter - just dropped straight down onto the carriage. Minor damage. Replaced one boom which cracked. I

If GUI confirms that, increase this to 5 higher than your lowest.
#define MINCHECK 1100 in the main file - not config
Should also reduce MAXCHECK by same amount

But - if I set down the trim 5 steps I reach 1095, is that ok not to have the trim in neutral?

I'm not sure about what you mean I should change?
