Great advice...thanks so much, I will experiment with different gain settings although I think mine are too low...basically it doesn't correct until it's too late at which point it corrects aggressively.

I'm stoked!

Although it is quite windy today, I decided to try a test on the battery on my Scarab Y6 - I flew it around straight for 13 minutes before landing. It still had at least a couple more minutes of flight time left when I checked the battery cells! Wow, never thought I would get that much flight time. Battery is a 3000mah 4S battery Sky Lipo. I have a 2650mah to still test.

Still no issues with the erratic flight I was having.

Can you post a picture of your direct arrangement with the Scarab gimbal. Reading your postings you have me interested in not having the gimbal problems you first experienced.

Here's a link to an interesting looking 3-axis gimbal mount for the GoPro.

Hope you have some super heavy grease in the servo gears to reduce any backlash-wiggles with the direct mount.

Objective: Find and record smooth AP and have fun while doing it!

Results: It's amazing how much beauty and history can be found down roads that are less traveled. These views were captured in San Francisco Bay Area, and are absolutely stunning!

Both the Scarab Triikopter and FPV Reconn were used to shoot this video. The Scarabs are both flying with the Paris V.4 Sirius, and are powered by the CarbonBird.com 775KV motors. You can't go wrong with the Scarabs!

The backlash is no different than when using the pushrods/bearings/boom block assembly...but yeah I'm going to try the heavy grease or even some sort of constant tension(rubber band or something).

Thank you for the pictures on the direct connection to the servo. If it works then the process is perfect.

Changing values using the MultiWiiCon_1_9 screen

I am trying to change values on the MultiWiiCon_1_9 screen and cannot figure the process.

I am reading the Paris board and it is reflecting motion about the three axis. The throttle and controls are alive I just cannot figure how to change values for in calibrating the transmitter.
