Joel, I just realized that you posted this vid on Tarheel Hal; I have been able to find a few tid-bits of info on this plane/pilot, but nothing in depth.

Do you have any more info or know where I could look to get further educated on Tarheel Hal and it's missions? I have a 1/5th scale on the bench...

Brad, no I don't have any info for you about that P-47. Your model is looking real good--a nice coincidence. Here's a video of Tarheel Hal coming in for a landing.

That was awesome Matt! I saw a C130 at Eglin's museum the other day, sadly it was in deteriorating condition.
