Bless you!
If I were there with my Supra, I would never take off in that direction. Maybe you'd like to share with us some flight videos in the Electric Sailplane forum. Maxa-e videos are still rare these days...... Very interested in the new long-tail version of Maxa-e 4m. |

I am interested in the Windy version .does anyone fly this version?
In landing path , I found the 4m light version is easy to be disturbed by gust in slow speed. So I decide to order the windy version, hopefully it should be more stable in landing. Kun |

Kun- is it possible to use a bit less landing flaps on your landing approach, to avoid slowing the model too much? Then use the brake at the end?
Maybe the flaps work so well that your approach is slower than you want for gusty winds. Glad you fixed your model. R, Target |

Target, you are right. You can approach with a normal speed, then use break just before landing. It will be much better control. Because our flying field is not very large, we used to slow down the model avoiding rushing out of the landing range.
Merry Christmas and happy new year! Chinese New Year will be 2 months later. So I will have two long holiday, but need to buy double gifts! |

Is it My imagination? I added about three more millimeters to the reflex mode for Zoom on my Maxa. It seemed to make quite a big difference. Has anyone else noticed the same thing? It seems like I am getting at least 50 more feet of altitude on the Zoom. Am I imagining things?

The top of the wing is now flat. So instead of running a straight edge on the bottom of the wing like they suggest for reflex, I pretty much have a straight edge on the top of the wing now for Zoom only. This much reflex for ranging out/covering ground, is definitely too much reflex. The suggested reflex seems perfect for covering ground and long distances with minimum loss of altitude.
