We have a LOT of Beavers here too, most are on floats however a lot are on wheel/skis. You NEVER see a Super Cub here that has standard sized wheels, only Tundra tires.

Flying models with floats is fun and you don't need a "flying field." Any lake will do and we have a lot of lakes my area so float flying is common here. Our club does a float fly every summer and the IMAA guys hold a couple too. My LHS is closed today and tomorrow but I think I'll stop by and have them put my name on one when they get some in. I really like this version of the Super Cub, wish it was a little bigger though.

It's about time! You never see good super cub kit's, arf's etc. anymore.
I can't wait to get one of these and in all honesty, I'll probabaly get a couple of them! I love super cubs. My favorite airplane. I used to own a real awhile back and wish my health would have let me keep it.
What would be the quickest to order one? Through your LHS or from the factory? It's the perfect size for me.

As far as ordering i am still going to go through my lhs to get it. Besides, I will save on the shipping fee or risk of a duty charge.

Glad everyone is liking the lights - I agree if they made provisions for it you have to go for it.

Looks like the vertical stab an d rudder have been stretched a bit like the j3 version.

Another striking detail is the leading edge of the horizontal stab where it meets the fuselage / trimmable stab.? Sweet.

Not a trimmable stab, but it sure looks that way, doesn't it?
