No, it's not scale, most Super Cubs have no noticable dihederal or a very slight amount. I'm glad to see E-Flite do the PA-18 Super Cub. The Super Cub is a very common workhorse here in Alaska and they're head and shoulders in performance above the J-3 which is more commonly modeled, however you don't see too many of them here because the PA-18 is so much more versitile.

I can see a lot of those models sold here including me having to have one too. A lot of them will no doubt go on floats because so many of the full sized ones here are on floats.

Nice Model

I think it looks great. Why do you guys want floats so much? Do you all fly off water?

I think a lot of Alaskan flyers would put their models on floats or big tires to model the real planes here. Where I live, there are DeHavilland Beaver's EVERYWHERE, all on floats. I don't even know if I've SEEN a Beaver in person that wasn't on floats.

True, not sure if i have ever seen a beaver on wheels either. Seen a couple on skis but pretty sure most of them here are on floats. I'm sure this would be a cool lookin plane on floats or skis.

That thing is a beauty. Floats? Why not. I prefer skiis though. Sea frozen over six months every year. Fifty-fifty.

Anybody know where the battery hatch is? I don't see it in any of Horizon's photos.

So who is going to do theirs with the light kit? I am curious to see how you will get the wires there, but they say they have channels for that.

Very cool.

I'm planning it actually, going the the "whole nine yards" as they say. The way I read the description, the model was setup for it and it was a matter of plug and play.

+1. Go big or go home. I''m thinking they probably have string in the wing to guide the wires through just like they do on the aileron servo.

This guy had a cool idea to make his own wheels.
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1430300

or DUBRO makes all kinds of smooth wheels that could be made to work.

The fact that they have put useable fittings in it already for lights it would be hard not to have them in there. Might as well load it up with all the goodies.
