I'm going a little crazy just looking at corosairs flying around on my screen ,time to built !!!

I can only get 3.3mm coro so will they fly OK all in 3mm ,wings and all ?

Also ,what weight did you guys add to the nose to get the CG on point ?

If I print out the PDF file at 100% will this be to actual full size scale ?

sorry if this has been answered a 1000 times already ,I'm still working my way through this 56 page thread and I just cant wait to get going

Thanks headon, I think the Corsair surprises us with how well it slope flys with the gull wing, but it just works! I recall we added about 200grams of lead in the spinner. The spinner is a plastic curtain rod cap we found at the local home improvement store. I had a mid-air on Thursday that knocked the spinner clean off, I thought for sure I was going to have to emergency land a very 'pitchy' airframe, but it flew just fine and actually rolled even better. So the CG on the plans might be a bit conservative. Yes print the plans at 100percent or 1:1 on A0 paper. Yes other guys have built using only 3mm, the wing will be just a bit heavier

Thanks FB ,you are a mine of information.I'm doing the finishing touches to my corro , EPP Eagle and hope to slope soar it with no motor when the electrics arrive,great learning curve before I launch into the corsair.

On the Eagle I removed every second flute on the inside of the rounded body of the corro ,has anyone tried this on the corsair ,rather than removing all the inside flutes as on the draftman3 videos ?? I thought might just add a little stiffness and fair line to the fuse.

Yes you can de-flute every other. It will be stronger, not quite as "round", but from 10m, you won't see it. I would try it, wrap the fuzz around the formers with rubberbands, if you don't like the look, you can always go back and de-flute the others
