TC. All of the correx slopers on this thread are built with 2mm for the wing skin and then 3mm for the ailerons, fuselage, tail feathers and formers

I've been working on equipment installations nearly every day during our shutdown period for the last two weeks, so not much progress to show during the holidays, sorry.

Take the Alchemy with to work tomorrow............not enough time to go to Slipper, BUT I'm sure she can rock Maitlands in the 78km/h predicted,... even though I know it will be more WEST than SW!!

Me and a friend, are thinking on proceeding to the build of 2 Correx Mig 7, as presented by Sean.

The big problem is that Correx is not available here.

Is there a chance you know any vendor that is based in EU and ships to Greece Correx sheets?

Thanks.

Hi FB

It seems that I ve located an organizer store, which seems to have sheets of polypropylene (Correx?) on 120*80. But I am not sure it is what we want. I ll pay them a visit to find it out. Ohhh they only have it on 3mm

I posted a couple of weblinks on page 1 that show photos and descriptions of Correx or Corroplast. I have built all of my wings using 2mm, but I know others have used 3mm, when that was the only 'size' available. Good luck!

we use hot glue to build the fuselage and formers, I build my wings using a combination of methods, hot glue the spar onto the bottom wing skin, contact cement to adhere the ailerons to the bottom skin, normal adhesive glue on the top side of the spar when "closing" the wing, and contact cement on the trailing edge to the aileron, and finally hot glue the wing tips to closure

sorry about the delay with the Impala, will hope to get back to working on it within the week
