Hey FB why not leave the engine nacelle's open? Won't that give you more stability in flight?

No, it won't....
The increase in surface area induces drag!

(The other wizards say so!)
Better to close them up. I know it sound strange, but hey, if you toss it off in good lift.....

so opening them will cause more drag than closing them?

mmm... well I have googled and youtube this topic and I can't believe that no one has actually tried to put an toilette roll in a wind windtunnel

anyway i will conduct my own test and will submit my findings

just got back from dinner......thought I saw a white combi- on Cape Road with some oke's arm out the window holding a TP roll.........

I have a big Bearcat that has a huge frontal area the cowling is closed at the front ,and the aircraft in flight is not exactly what you would call a drag bucket Nice work on the hog as well

to be honest, I am thinking of just leaving it white....the base color WartHog is a light grey anyway

tho maybe paint a Hog mouth and some rockets hanging under the wing !!!
