No they're not die cut. That would be to expensive. One thing about coro airplanes is they're 'cheap'. We started doing build parties to promote combat, and we'd build an extra for the raffle. Well, one guy that won a raffle plane, after finding out how much fun it was, came up and said "I have a laser cutter" You could imagine how that sounded to my ears. The rest is history. I don't sell the kits. The only way you could get one was to show up at a build party. (eg. the preceding video from FB's post #4 last video) since I/we did it at cost. (free laser cutting...huge) Please don't let the laser cutting thing discourage you from hand cutting. We started out hand cutting. By jumping in and doing it, others who could help in some way seem to show up, you would not have known it or them, unless you step out and get started.

Last year Andy did several one off coro airplanes for power combat. Since it was combat you won't see the attention to detail found in FB's Mig, but you'll get the idea that, it's not imposable to just start making one. He did them without a hard set of plans, just started folding and cutting. to make a set of templates you would have to then break it down and trace a set. Here are the results from one event last year.

Steeg, The wings are always 2mm. Type "coroplast" into a search engine and pick someone in your area. If a local sign shop doesn't have the 2mm, they may be able to order it in. Or they are just lazy, then find another sign shop that will work with you.

Sean, remember I used your blogspot for inspiration for my color schemes. I needed visibility for combat. Besides. The camo colors are hard to find in our jungle we fly over.
