Fortunately I found that it is possible to subscribe to the OP forums as an RSS feed, which I have now added to my Google Reader account. This syncs to my phone, so that should work for me as far as getting the latest news. My only complaint there, and please correct me if I'm wrong, is that there seems to be no way to subscribe to individual forums. It's all or nothing. I would have preferred to add subscriptions only to forums I'm interested in.

I have no development software on my mac.I just downloaded the dmg file as instructed.I was told that was all i had to do.

Yes please. I was just getting a background context. So essentially fresh Snow Leopard install. Run dmg. Crash.

hi i wonder if any body can help i am trying to configure my cc board but in the rc input in configuration yaw and flight mode are working together i have checked my FF10 and have chanel 5 switched with switch C 3 position.
when i go to flight mode switching it will not switch between stabilized 1 2 or 3. i have checked all the mixers in my tx and all are inhibeted.
when i run calibration rudder stick moves both yaw and flightmode.

You must have a corrupt configuration that probably the GCS doesn't display correctly. You're easiest bet would be tool->erase settings and start over. You can also export your settings and re-import everything except ManualControlSettings.

i have tried erase settings and started again but the same is happening

Can you try another switch channel? Or another receiver

Tried Attitude control on the YAW - very cool to play with

Its holds whatever heading it was when powered up, move the yaw stick left or right, and it follows, release and it snaps back to the original heading, feels very locked in, not much drift.

Not of any real use (unless it can be set up to hold the current attitude when the mode switch is changed, then it could be usefull) but fun to play with on a wet and windy nite in the dining room

V8 done using copter control and 6 channels, works well now that its sorted

V8 flying in dead calm (0 min 53 sec)

thanks for trying gary but it is still the same i tried a new spektrum 6200 rx and changed the switching from switch C 3 position to switch E 3 position then to switch B 2 position i have watched the openpilot video 1 several times and i am doing it the same i have also watched openpilot video 2 and would like to configure my quad but without switching i am not able.

can you do a screen shot of the configuration input page please
