Hey guys sorry to post this here, but I have an extra kk + board with LCD I listed in the F/S section if any one is interested. it is in + mode, and I can't use + mode. as the my other KK + boards are in X mode and work perfectly these are the best kk boards out there. and I have a question, will that new . kk board addon with the GPS and sensors work on this board?

If resetting a LCD display just requires connecting a TTL serial console to it at a certain speed, then yes that'll work. If resetting it means reloading new firmware, then no it won't work. I think it's the former though.

Actually I was not aware of this. When I hear gyro I think auto correction. But I guess it doesn't work that way. I thought that by having gyros that it would auto level itself when I took my hands off the right stick. Oh well, I'll get used to it with more practice. Just gonna take longer than I thought. All of you experts make it look so easy in your videos. The thing is, you rarely see novice videos of people barely controlling their quad. Too embarrassing to post them I guess

I'll try turning up the gain just a tad more and see what happens.

Thanks to everyone for being so helpfull in this thread.

yes, you can use that MKUSB.

Pin 3 is the TX pin. which you should be able to connect to the RX of the LCD.

Pin 10 is GND and Pin 2 is 5V

The above is refer to the top row of 10pin

if you use the opposite of the USB port 10pin row, the pin is:
Pin 1: RX
Pin 2: 5V --> to LCD 5V
Pin 7: GND --> to LCD GND
Pin 9: TX -- > to LCD RX

Hope you can solve this with your friend. also refer to the video

If LCD baud rate is 9600 and display is garbled, you need to do the 'Adjust LCD Timing' as detailed in the ReadMe.

Just power the board on and immediately hold Yaw stick to Right for >3seconds.
If LED flashes at regular intervals, then you need to re-try

Then just use the TxYaw stick to change the timing - LED will flash when you make a change
You must unplug and then re-plug display in after each change.
