I just got around to installing a V5.5e board that I got a couple months ago on my tricopter. The tri is more or less the same as rcexplore.se.V2.5. The KK+ was preloaded with KK Tri V1.6 firmware.

It flies ok but I went to do some fine tuning and the gain pots seem non responsive. I started with all at 50% and increased them incrementally. I now have pitch and roll all the way up and there's still no sign of oscillation in flight. The yaw pot definitely worked when set to min during initial setup. Am I missing something?

Hi,
Did you try to turn the pot other way round to see if the Gyro gain did reduce or increase?

I do get feedback from others saying the KR firmware also can set the gain to max and still did not oscialte.

Finaly a Quad-fpv maiden...... and a video to prov it LOL !!

First half is LOS, my buddy is vering the goggles, the flopp at the 2. takeoff is me.... 1. try.
Moving the quad to a better start point and off we go.

The RB motor got loose due to vibrations.
I felt the quad was a bit "off"/hard to manuver ...one more minut in the air and the motor would have fallen off.
Locktite is your friend ;-)

Make it a build tutorial so any newbie can use it.

Its all very nice to see robotic quads flying with so much more precision than I ever will
"BUT" are they having as much fun as we do ? I think not. And I never heard the words
"Oooops" or "F*&%" once. But great video.
